Sarah has over seventeen years of experience in charter and district K-12 education as a teacher, federal programs coordinator, academic program director, academic coach, and assistant principal. She was also a member of the Title I Review Committee for the Hawai’i State Public Charter School Commission. She is the current Chief Business Officer at Scholarship Prep, a K-8 charter network with five schools and 2,000 students, where she oversees fiscal and business operations. She is passionate about breaking down barriers for students believes that a strong educational foundation is the catalyst for all students to have college and career choices both in and out of their communities.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach as well as a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Chaminade University. She also recently completed a certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University. She lives in Southern California with her husband and young son and enjoys the beach, snowboarding, and watching the Dodgers.
