Sara Lopez serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Allegiance STEAM Academy, a role she stepped into after initially joining the organization as the Director of Business Services in 2019. In her current position, she provides strategic oversight for critical operational sectors, including Human Resources, Payroll, Food Services, and Accounts Payable and Receivable. Under Sara’s leadership, Allegiance has established highly efficient and transparent fiscal operations, successfully building healthy reserves while maintaining the absolute integrity of its educational programs.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of La Verne, where her undergraduate studies focused on Education and Business. Her diverse professional background spans multiple industries, including a tenure as a Business Consultant for a Forbes Top 100 semiconductor company in Silicon Valley, where she helped pioneer one of the industry's very first eCommerce platforms.

After pausing her career to raise her four amazing children, Sara re-entered the education sector as a Paraprofessional with the Arcadia Unified School District. She transitioned back into full-time operations at a charter school in Altadena, California, progressing from Finance Assistant to Finance Manager. Dedicated to the unique landscape of school business, Sara has specialized in charter school finance and operations since 2017.

Outside of her professional role, Sara loves supporting her children's endeavors and can usually be found cheering them on from the sidelines most weekends.
