Samuel Johnson is the Director of Finance at Amigos Por Vida–Friends for Life Public Charter School in Houston, Texas, where he oversees the organization's financial strategy, budgeting, compliance, and business operations. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience across finance, nonprofit management, education, and ministry, with a passion for solving complex challenges and helping organizations strengthen their impact in the communities they serve.

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Accounting and Finance, an Executive MBA and Master of Finance from Tulane University, and a Master of Divinity from Regent University. He has dedicated much of his career to building healthy organizations, developing leaders, and advancing mission-driven work through strategic leadership and financial stewardship.

Samuel lives in the Houston area with his wife and their five children. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, writing and mentoring.
