Priam Dutta will join Uncommon Schools as the Chief Operating Officer in July of 2022. He is currently a Chief Strategy Officer at Attuned Education Partners, where he supports public school systems with strategic planning and vision-setting. Previously, Priam was the Founding Principal of Achievement First Voyager Middle School, from 2016-2020. In the 2018-19 school year, Voyager Middle was #1 in growth on Achievement First’s comprehensive measure of school quality (out of 37 schools). Before founding Voyager Middle, Priam spent four years at AF Bushwick Middle School and AF Brooklyn High School as a teacher and a Dean. Priam joined Achievement First from McKinsey & Company, where he led teams that developed and piloted programs to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of financial institutions. Priam started his career as a high school Teach for America teacher in Baton Rouge. Priam holds an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College and a JD from Yale Law School.
