Michael Wimbish grew up in East Lansing, Michigan, and graduated from East Lansing High School in 2002.  Michael went on to attend the University of Southern California (USC) for his undergraduate studies.  He graduated from USC in 2006, with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Corporate Finance.  After graduating from USC, Michael took a role as a Financial Analyst with Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, CA, where he worked in a variety of Finance roles during his time with the company (2006-2014).  While working at Intel, Michael also received his Masters Degree in Business from the University of California Berkeley (Class of 2014). In the fall of 2014, Michael accepted a Corporate Finance role with The Clorox Corporation in Oakland, CA.  Michael worked with Clorox from 2014-2018, before transitioning to the Non-Profit Education sector, as the Director of Finance for Aspire Public Schools in September 2018.  In February 2021, Michael transitioned into the role of Chief Financial Officer for Aspire, which is the role that he serves in today.  In this role, Michael oversees a team of 18, in the areas of Payroll & Retirement, Accounting, and Finance. 

On the personal side, Michael has been married to his wife Jesslynn Wimbish, for over 13 years.  The couple currently resides in Oakely, CA with their six beautiful children:  Kailynn (17), Jordynn (10), Kendall (8), Dominick (6), Mikayla (5), and Makenzie (4).  In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with family, as well as watching/playing sports.
