Mark Haggett has been employed with RCMA's Wimauma Community Academy since 2001, starting as a Middle School Math Teacher, then moving to Administration in 2007, and then was named Principal in 2008. The K-8 Charter school serves the farm working families in southern Hillsborough County and provides wrap-around services to that high-needs community. In his first year as Principal, the school improved two letter grades and has repeatedly outperformed the traditional schools in that area. Mr. Haggett was recently promoted to RCMA's Director of Operations, overseeing the network's three schools in Hillsborough, Polk, and Collier counties. Mark lives in Tampa but remains connected in Wimauma where he coaches the Cross country team.
