Leslie Berlin is an accomplished financial executive with a track record of success in managing complex financial operations and driving strategic growth.  Currently serving as the CFO at Uplift Education, a nonprofit organization with 45 charter schools and an annual budget exceeding $300 million.  Leslie plays a pivotal role in ensuring the allocation of funds to support the educational needs of 23,000 scholars.  Prior to working with Uplift Leslie spent 3 years managing her own fractional CFO business, Pocket CFO, with a variety of clients including start-ups and private equity backed companies in retail and restaurants.  Much of Leslie’s career was in a variety of Finance and Strategy roles at Yum! Brands (Pizza Hut, KFC & Taco Bell) for over 13 years.  While at Yum! Leslie was able to marry her love for finance and pizza at Pizza Hut by working as the Director of Pizza Hut Express licensee business and driving franchise expansion in Europe while living in Paris.  When Leslie isn’t working, she’s exploring the world or getting outside in home of Dallas with her golden retriever, Cooper.
