With more than 17 years of leadership experience spanning nonprofit management and education, Laura Millkamp has built a career centered on strategic growth, operational excellence, and community impact. In her work , she partners with schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to design innovative systems, strengthen operations, and lead high-impact initiatives. Her work includes developing collaborative service models for charter schools and founding charter school operations teams.

Throughout her career, Laura has demonstrated expertise in leadership development, financial stewardship, retention strategy, and program design. In previous roles with organizations such as Ameren Corporation, University City Children’s Center, and KIPP St. Louis, she led multimillion-dollar budgets, orchestrated executive leadership summits, implemented data-informed retention plans, and advanced diversity and inclusion efforts.

Laura’s foundation in education, including her work as a special education teacher and program director, continues to shape her people-centered leadership approach. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Quincy University, a Master of Education in Special Education from University of Missouri–St. Louis, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Webster University.
