Katie Hahn is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Kindle Education Public Charter School in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she leads the school's operations, finance, and organizational strategy. Since co-founding Kindle in 2020, she has helped grow the school from an idea into a thriving public charter school built around inquiry-driven, project-based learning and the development of purposeful individuals. Katie oversees budgeting, facilities, enrollment, fundraising, compliance, and school operations, with a focus on building the systems and organizational capacity needed to scale Kindle's innovative model while remaining true to its mission.
Before launching Kindle, Katie worked in school turnaround and community schools in New York City, supporting school leaders and nonprofit partners to improve outcomes for students through integrated supports and organizational improvement. She holds an A.B. from Harvard University, an M.S.W. from New York University, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. She is excited to join the FOX Fellowship as she continues developing the strategic leadership and operational capacity needed to support Kindle's next phase of growth.
