Joana Ngo Hamaki is the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Citizens of the World Los Angeles, which serves 2,300 students across seven schools in Los Angeles. Prior to her role as CFO/COO, Joana was the Managing Director of Operations. Joana is excited to be part of the FOX Fellowship because it would develop her as a strategic leader in serving students, staff, and families, but it also comes at a critical time in CWC LA’s growth. She believes the FOX Fellowship’s hands-on, individualized learning approach and expertise in the charter sector are needed to prioritize and implement the many opportunities that lie ahead intentionally. Joana is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University.
