Jerrell is a seasoned workforce development leader, U.S. Army veteran, and Senior Director of Job Point’s YouthBuild program in Columbia, Missouri. With dual degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Missouri Valley College, he blends operational precision with community‑rooted vision to expand opportunity for young people across the state. He chairs the Missouri YouthBuild Coalition, serves as a YouthBuild Global Leadership Fellow, and serves as the chair for the YouthBuild Global Membership Committee. His leadership has earned national and global recognition, including being named the 2025 YouthBuild Global Director of the Year and receiving the 2024 YouthBuild Global Solidarity Award, affirming his impact on youth empowerment worldwide.

Jerrell’s advocacy extends beyond program leadership into statewide systems change, including advancing Missouri’s first YouthBuild Workforce Charter School initiative and securing resources that strengthen training pathways for opportunity youth. His community influence has been celebrated locally as well, earning COMO Magazine’s Community Impact Award and being named one of Central Missouri’s 2024 20 Under 40 professionals.
