Gwendolyne Martinez is a financial executive and certified School Business Administrator with more than 21 years of experience leading finance, operations, and organizational strategy across the education, nonprofit, and private sectors. She currently serves as Vice President of Finance and School Business Administrator for BRICK Education Network, where she oversees the financial operations of multiple charter schools and nonprofit entities across New Jersey and New York. Her work spans budgeting, financial planning, compliance, procurement, risk management, and long-term fiscal sustainability.

Beyond her work in education, Gwendolyne has dedicated her career to community and economic development. She served as Executive Director of the Inwood Merchant Association, leading initiatives that supported local businesses, strengthened community engagement, and managed over $1.7 million in grant-funded revitalization projects. She currently serves as Chair of the New York State Latino Restaurant Association, where she works to advance advocacy, leadership, and economic opportunity for Latino restaurant owners across New York State.

Gwendolyne holds a Master of Accountancy in Governmental Accounting from Rutgers University. As a FOX Fellow, she is committed to strengthening the financial infrastructure that makes excellent schools possible — bringing her belief that sound fiscal stewardship is not simply an operational function, but a direct investment in the students and communities schools are built to serve.
