Frank Wu serves as the Chief Financial Officer at KIPP NorCal, where he leads the Accounting, Finance, Public Accountability & Compliance, and Real Estate teams. With over eight years of experience on the KIPP NorCal Finance Team, Frank has a proven track record of strategic leadership, starting from his initial role as a Finance Manager.

Throughout his tenure, he has forged deep partnerships with KIPP NorCal’s school leaders, Board, and central office teams. He has also orchestrated the complex $170M+ annual budgeting process, evolved the organization’s compensation strategy, and maintained KIPP NorCal’s strong financial health. As CFO, Frank is focused on cultivating the optimal financial and operating conditions to drive long-term student success and educational equity.

Before KIPP, Frank was a strategy consultant at Accenture, where he also volunteered to lead the firm’s partnership with KIPP NorCal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina and currently resides in Berkeley with his wife and young son.
