Elizabeth Woodcock serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Compass Community Schools, a network of 6 charters serving students from kindergarten to 12th grade in Memphis, TN.

This is the 20th anniversary year of when Mrs. Woodcock joined the charter sector, where she started as a member of the National Association of Charter School Authorizers team. Since then, she has been both an authorizer (with the SUNY Charter Schools Institute) and school operator, working for the ACERO Schools (formerly UNO Charter School Network) in Chicago, and the Achievement School District in the Frayser neighborhood of Memphis.

At Compass, Liz oversees operations for both the network and school-based teams, focusing on student enrollment, budget and finance, compliance, safety, facilities, HR and procurement, and she has developed the non-instructional processes, procedures and policies for Compass.

Mrs. Woodcock is a product of New Jersey public schools, and a graduate of Loyola University in Maryland (B.A., 2004) and Loyola University-Chicago (M.Ed., 2009). She lives in Memphis with her husband Daniel, her daughter Charlotte and her German Shepherd Olive.
