Denisha is an experienced educational leader in her 16th year of dedication to student success and operational excellence. She began her career in Chicago’s charter school sector at Noble Network of Charter Schools, serving as Assistant Dean of Discipline at Chicago Bulls College Prep before joining KIPP Chicago Schools.

During her more than decade-long tenure with KIPP, Denisha has held various pivotal leadership roles. She served as Director of Operations at KIPP Academy Chicago for four years, where she was instrumental in strengthening school systems and played a key role in the launch of KIPP Academy Chicago Primary. In January 2021, she transitioned to KIPP Chicago’s School Support Team, serving in several leadership capacities before being promoted to Head of Operations.

In this regional leadership capacity, Denisha oversees multiple vital operational domains, including attendance, enrollment, facilities, and finance, ensuring schools have the resources and structures needed to thrive. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Denisha is deeply committed to serving communities that reflect her own upbringing. She is passionate about creating equitable opportunities for students and ensuring that their needs remain at the center of every decision.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones.
