Cody Grindle is the former President of IDEA Public Schools, one of the nation's largest public charter school networks, where he has spent his entire career—rising from seventh-grade teacher to President over seventeen years as the network grew from a handful of campuses to nearly 145 schools across multiple states. He earlier served as Chief Information Officer and interim Chief Operating Officer, and as President directly oversees the network's technology, operations, and human capital functions. He has also been a central force in IDEA's finance work—helping shape its budget process and guiding the financial stabilization and sustainability efforts that underpinned its multi-state expansion.

This summer, Cody begins a new chapter as Entrepreneur in Residence at the Silicon Schools Fund, where he will focus on AI-enabled tools and school models. Cody lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Megan, and their son, Gus.
