Cara Eng is the Chief Operations and Finance Officer for Rocky Mountain Prep, a network of 4 high-performing elementary charter schools in the Denver Metro area. Prior to that role, she was the Managing Director of Operations at RMP and at KIPP Texas. Sshe was a campus operations leader at YES Prep for 4.5 years and taught in Camden, New Jersey for 3 years. Cara grew up in Title 1 schools in Houston Texas as an FRL and ELL student. She feels passionately that schools should be student-focused especially in regard to academic excellence with social-emotional supports. Because of excellent teachers, Cara was able to attain a BA at Rice University and an MBA in non-profit management focus at Yale School of Management. She is excited to join the Fox Fellowship Cohort.
