Aisha Allen is currently the Director of Regional Operations at KIPP St. Louis. With a passion for building strong operational systems that support both students and staff, Aisha works closely with school leaders and operations teams to ensure schools run smoothly each day. She brings a wealth of experience in developing systems that allow teachers to focus on instruction, creating culturally affirming spaces, and providing exceptional service to families.

Aisha’s journey in education began in St. Louis, Missouri, where she taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. She later transitioned into the role of Assistant School Leader of Operations, where she managed operational staff and substitute teachers while leading key initiatives in attendance, safety, enrollment, vendor management, and family engagement. Her leadership ensured that students and staff were prepared for emergencies and that school spaces reflected the community’s values and needs. Aisha’s focus on operational excellence created systems that unburdened teachers, allowing them to deliver high-quality instruction.

A native of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Aisha earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Saint Louis University, with a minor in Education and a Certificate in African American Studies. During her time there, she served as president of the Black Student Association before becoming a Teach For America corps member. Outside of work, Aisha enjoys exploring local artists, spending time with family, and cooking. With her passion for education and operational excellence, Aisha is excited to continue refining her practice while supporting educational success at every level.
