Aaron joined Excel Academy in 2015 and currently serves as Excel’s Managing Director of Finance. Prior to this role, Aaron held several other roles in finance and operations at Excel, including Senior Director of FInance, Director of Special Finance and Operations Projects, Dean of Operations and Operations Department Head. Prior to joining Excel, Aaron held administrative and teaching roles at Match Public Charter Schools in Boston and Achievement First Amistad High School in New Haven, CT. He began his career in education as a Teach For America Corps Member in Brooklyn, NY. Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, Master of City Planning from MIT, and MBA from Yale School of Management. When not trying to design the perfect spreadsheet tool, you can find Aaron venturing around Boston with his two kids, evading reckless drivers on his bike, or training for a half marathon.
